Treeful in Winter

Winter temperatures in Okinawa average 10–18°C / 50–64.6°F. Surrounded by mountains, Treeful is sheltered from strong winds, so it often feels warmer than the actual temperature. All Treeful activities can be enjoyed year-round.

Why Visit Treeful in Winter

Okinawa is warm, making it a place to escape both cold and extreme heat.
There are fewer insects from December to February.
Outside the summer peak season, there tend to be fewer visitors and lower costs.
The river becomes cooler, making it refreshing to dip into after a sauna or during river trekking.
With less moisture in the air, the stars are often clearer in winter than in summer.
Heating is provided in the rooms to keep you comfortable.
Birds such as Daurian redstarts, pipits, olive-backed pipits, shrikes, and Japanese bush warblers are more commonly seen in the cooler season.
