We won “The Most Instagrammable Hotel in Asia & top 8 hotel in the world“. We were among the chosen 64 luxury hotels globally, nominated as the only hotel from Japan. The tournament was run by Luxury Travel Advisor.
2022 August 29th
Treeful’s newest treehouse “Sauna Treehouse” has officially been certified by Guinness World Records for the lowest treehouse.
Usually, treehouses are on top of trees, so they are above the ground level, but our sauna treehouse is suspended from trees growing on the slopes of cliffs and is hovering above the river at the bottom of the cliffs. Because the height of the ground level is 0 meter, the lowest part of the sauna treehouse is minus 3.6 meters, therefore it is recognised as the lowest tree house in the world.

- Treeful Treehouse Officially Open
We began accepting reservations on the 31st of July, and opened reservations from August 1st, 2021. We passed the “application for business license for hotel businesses”, and it is now possible for guests to stay at the treehouse, for the first time in Japan.
